Learn to Skate

Class Time: Please see monthly calendar for days and times.Cost: $30.00 per month

Includes: 4+ lessons, open skate following class, use of rental skates, free admission to open skate for parents of class members.

Overview: You will learn to skate forwards, backwards, basic spinning, jumping and balancing on one foot. This class is for all ages. Students must register before the first Saturday of the month.

Tiny Tots Skate

Class Time: Thursday 10:00am - 11:30am

Cost: $5.00 per week

Includes: Lesson, snack, use of rental skates, parents skate free with a paying child.Overview: Come introduce your preschooler to roller skating. Fun and snack included. Strollers welcome!

NOTE: During the school year, this class will NOT be held if Chesterfield County Schools are closed or opening late due to inclement weather.

Learn to Speed Skate/Speed Team

Class Time:  Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Cost: $30.00

Overview:

1.  Participants must know how to skate forward with proficiency and backward basically

.2.  Participants must have your own skates, inline speed, inline or quad to start, ultimately  graduating to inline speed.

3.  Participants must wear helmet, either bicycle or speed skating.

4.  Inline wrist guards or gloves recommended.

This is not a “learn to skate program”, it is a “learn to speed skate program”.  Beginner speed skaters are welcome.
